The wave carries a second image of depth, renewal through the beating waves breaking down the rocks, renewal from farther out something pours in through something carried inward from farther out, is what the changing tides eventually spew upon the seashore at daybreak. Waves express titanic energy or the energies of the Titans/before Olympus and the Olympians, Zeus/Neptune/Hades
